Default Shelby GT-H should I??

OK to the girlfriend is paying for me to fly to Orlando to visit some family if I rent the car. It'd be cheaper in my name since I'm 26 and she's 24. I get to looking and they have a GT-H available for $123.49 a day after my ASME discount. Whoo-hoo $100 dues a year saves me $5 on a freaking car......Anyway, I'm thinking about renting one for a day and taking it back to get a focus for the rest of the trip. Anyone else got one before? Is it worth the price, or is it basically just like my GT and I'd be paying for hype? I'm not sure what I want to do yet, although it would look pretty badass pulling that up next to her uncle's C6 though, even if it couldn't hang with it on the track.

im sure its a fun car and will attract alot of attention but thats a pretty steep price. my dad rented one in florida and he said it was a blast but he wouldnt rent it again. plus his company got kinda pissed cuz he rented such an expensive car haha. its up to u, it would be fun.

I rented one with my dad out in California... we drove from LA to Napa Valley and back to LA. My dad uses Hertz for Business all year long, and we got a really cheap deal. It's what made me get my GT... For a day I don't know if it will be worth it, especially coming from a GT... It's fun for the looks you get, but now they're older and the oomph may not be as good... the one we rented had 4 miles on it... also we drove it over 1200 miles

The Pacific coast highway was fun...

It's up to you, but I don't know if its worth it for one day...

Get the new GT-H Convertible and the answer is Heck Yeah!
An older GT-H, and I really don't see the point, especially when you can rent a V-6 Vert for $35 and a Infinity G35 for $50. See if you can rent at a place away from the airport, as they have unreasonable fees here at LAX now. I tell people to just take a taxi into Marina Del Rey where there are lots of rental places.

You can always go insane and rent a Ferarri F430 for $3000/day!

You already have a GT so I don't see the point. The little attention you might get from a few people for the day isn't worth a nickle never mind $100. JMO
