Default screwed somethin up again!

Well it was raining outside and the roads were real slick so i went to a abandoned parking lot and put the auto into 1st, i floored it and pegged the rev limiter a couple of times then let off and heard a loud WHIIRRR like metal grinding, i dunno.. i was able to drive it fine but it doesnt act the same, it almost pauses after i hit the gas before i actually leave now, and it has bad vibrations at 80... wtf did i break this time?

edit, oh also when i take turns, it feels like a open dif now, like my posi trac almost lets one tire spin faster than the other instead of locking both at the same speed now.. i dunno maby im just imagineing things

my car just started doin the same thing after i did a burnout, it seems hesitant when in 1st gear when i'm trying to go, it kinda makes me nervous but we'll see if it's still doing it today...

Well since you added posi and gears it could have something to do with the install/newness of them. How long ago did you have it done? I know you're supposed to take it kinda easy for a bit when you get new gears before doing any aggressive driving with them.

this is reason #2 you don't play 'hotrod' with your V6.

The first being pretty obvious.

I'm thinking you chewed up the torque convertor.

Me too. The other day I went to a parking lot and red-lined it in neutral and dropped it in Drive and Reverse a few times. I also drove it down some stairs... and now the car is acting kind of funny. I don't understand what's going on.
