Default Aluminum Axle do I need it?

With the year end bonus and Christmas Check coming do I need to buy this? Please give me your knowledge owners of these or anyone for that matter. I really don't know what mod I need next. I just had some warranty work and that was a free 500 dollars plus to repair my speedometer. So If I lose my cats I think I will lose the extended warranty. My signature is gears, CAI/tune, under-drive pulleys and Mac Axle-backs which mean nothing but music to the ears.

Last time I checked with folks in the know, alum axlescan't be trustedin cars over 3300lbs. I wouldn't know from experience but I would think its true seeing how we already tear up steel axle housings.

IMO I think your money would be better spent elsewhere. The stock 8.8 should be fine for anyone under 500 rwhp/torque.

Are we talking driveshafts or axle housings? I thought you were asking about alum axle housings from the title of this thread.

I mean the mass section pole. I'm no mechanic as you can see but you know the shaft pole mass section that is like half the weight. Is it really worthy?

If your talking about the shaft that connects the transmission and rear end then thats the driveshaft. And YES its worth it! Quicker accleration, cured MY gear whine(95% of it anyway), better gas mileage(record of 373 miles toempty a few weeks ago)Mine has given me a little trouble but everything is being sorted out and I think I'm the only freak on the planet thats ever had trouble with the spydershaft. Ron has been very helpful with my issues and. If I had to I would do it again.
