I dont know much about this kind of thing, so i might as well ask you guys, i want to get my windows tinted but dont know what to look for, I wan it to just be darker like a black, I live in CT and was looking at this place to do it, any opinions??

Before you tint your windows, install moleskin, Taco Bill has a write up on the installation in his "How To's". Our cars a known to scratch the window tint all to hell without it.

 

DO THE MOLESKIN, i have to replace the tint on my driverside because i didnt do it. and get 20 percent. looks the best.

no "i guess" here. they are right. i dont have mole skin and it looks like someone took razors to my windows. they look terrible. i brought it to ford, just for the hell of it cuz i knew theyd tell me to get lost, and sure enough....

anyway, do the moleskins or you will have regrets.

 

ageed, wish i knew about moleskin before i did mine, my 15% look pretty bad from the inside and i've only had them for a month

 

only reason i havnt replaced the window tint on my driverside is cuz u cant see it from the outside, or inside at night lol. i think this weekend im going to put the moleskin on and re tint the windows.

 

What state are you in ... diff states have diff rules on tinting and some are more strict that others.

And again moleskins its a cheap small mod... its very boring to do but takes no time and saves a lot of money in the long run.

 

alrighty lol i was going to do it i just said "i guess" for some reason but i think i'm gonna go with 15 or 20% tints i live in CT and i think that website i posted earlier said they were having a sale on 35% and it was legal but i'll probably read up on the laws and whatnot before i do it just to be safe, and thks for the input
