Default gonna ask it anyways

Just by chance, is there anyway to get out road rash on rims? I doubt it but I thought Id ask anyways. What about wider tires? Will the lip of the tire overlap the edge of the rim? Ive seen worse road rash on rims but Im still pissed. Its just on the edge of the rim where the tire touches the tip of the rim. Thanks

If you use sand paper, use very fine grit or you can try scotchbrite and then polish it out with some good quality wheel polish.

fine grit wont smooth it out. u need to go a bit rough, but be very careful to only rub where the damage is. one slip and you will have more damage.

There are wheel shops all over the country that repair wheels.

"road rash"?
You mean curb rash, right?
It's a hard one parallel parking the Mustang. We really could use that passenger side mirror that angles down to tell how close to the curb the rear tire is going to be!
