Go to the dealer where you bought the car. Tell them you want an 8 cut non pats key cut with your key code. They youcan look it up with your Vin.They might want proof of ownership and registration. Then use that to open the door.
we do this all the time at my dealer (new dodge transmitter key =$200 incl. programming and tax...cheap door-only key = $6)...we just require photo ID and a document with your name and VIN on it (title, reg., ins. card etc)

Yeah same at my work. But they come in wanting a new pats key for some reason. I 'm such a nice guy though I tell them the cheap way.

i have to call B.S. on using the phone to amp the signal....

remote keyless entry (RKE) systems are narrowband radios usually operating at 315MHz and 434 MHz... (FCC ISM bands)/ The old analog phone system only works from 400 Hz to 3400 Hz... you're simply not in the same spectrum.

Call AAA. They will be there in 30min, and have it open 5min later, for free, and without damaging anything.

it would be possible if the FOB's carrier, somehow
mix's in one of the cell phone's rf amps, thus the
recovered audio could then be processed along
with other voice frequencies

who knows....someone try this! please lol

I heard that both phones need to be bluetooth capable. That is the part that allows it to transfer the signal. Don't know how true that is, just something I heard somewhere.

Dont know about that one... they f_ _ _ ed up my Honda. They destroyed the weather stripping and scratched up the door. I guess it really depends on how easy it is to break into the car.

I would go to the dealer as others have suggested.

If someone is at home where your spare key is have them hit the remote unlock button while holding the key up to a phone, while you hold your cell phone up to the car lock. Yes, it works! We didn't believe it, so we tried it for ourselves. The high frequency sound goes right through the cell phone and presto! You're unlocked.
Oh I will be trying that crazy ****! For sure!
