ford website/Shelby MSRP
I was checking out the Ford website and found the Shelby Gt500, with the MSRP of only $40K. I realize the stealerships have been raping the mustang faithful on this model (as well as the Shelby GT), but with thecamaro, the charger, and even the "Super Snake" mustangcoming out soon, do you think there is ANY chance they will ever actually go for MSRP?
I would really LOVE to own a car that says Shelby (real not fake) but paying $20K over MSRP is unacceptable and insulting.

They will, eventually. Remeber, the Terminator was only sold for 2 years, and at the end they had to offer great leases or deals on them to get them off the lots. Patience is a virtue!!

new ones? Don't hold your breath!
Used ones will eventually sell for under the original MSRP. Thrashed ones will go for a discount!
There's so much demand and so little supply that new ones will usually go for a premium, unless you know somebody!

Sooner or later the GT500 will sell at sticker too!! they are already flooded the market in the US.

My friend just picked up an 07 white /blue stripes (HOT!) for 5k over but they gave him an awesome trade on his 04 Cobra and he got 0% financing for 3 years, so the 5k actually worked for him!!!!
