Default RE: JBA Exhaust Install (HELP Please- Advice Req'd)

I'd be p*s*ed if they did that to my car....i cant believe they didnt fix it the RIGHT way...also all those marks they made will probably start to rust, because of the bare metal being exposed

i bought the axel back from this same shop a few months ago, but installed it myself, no problems. it was on a 07 gt/cs. i DID however have to cut about 3.4 inch off the pipe where it attaches to the existing part on the car. and then reflare it. but other than that...

Very unprofessional to have to use a hammer to make it fit. Be pissed, but all they could do is paint the scars I think, to keep it from rusting. The least they could have done was warn you. [sm=nothatway.gif][sm=boosign.gif]

I got a Spydershaft installed and when it was finished I was told that they sometimes hammer an area adjacent to the D/S for clearance. Since the Spyder is 4" in diameter it sometimes hits on bumps if the car is lowered. I told them no way you are going to hammer on my Mustang. I won't be getting it lowered though. No clearance issues at all the way it is now.

I WOULD BE VERY PISSED, AS I WAS JUST RECENTLY. I HAD 2 SETS ON OUR 2 CARS REPLACED DUE TO BAD BAFFLES AND HANGER DESIGNS. I SPENT ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY TO KEEP GETTING IT CHECKED OUT HERE IN L.A. UNTIL MY LAST RESORT WAS TO CAL JBA EXHAUST COMPANY ITSELF, NOT THEIR INSTALL CENTER AND TALKED TO ALEX KONGER. HE HAD NEW MUFFLERS SENT TO THEIR INSTALL CENTER AND SWAPED THEM OUT. ONLY CATCH WAS I HAD TO MAKE A TRIP TO S.D. BUT I DID IT ON THE LAST S.D. CRUISE WEEKEND AND TOOK THE KIDS TO SEA WORLD. BUT TALK TO HIM AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO. BOTH COMPANIES SHARE THE SAME OWNER. GOOD LUCK AND PM ME IF YOU NEED SOME MOR INFO.
