Need Opinions! Mustang Front Bumper Options
Greets!
I have an 07 Black Mustang GT and I am looking for a more aggressive front-end. I need opinions and stark-honesty as to what people think on this. I am new to mustangs and don't want to be too taboo.
There are a couple of other dress items I am adding, but EVERYTHING else is stock, including suspension, etc.
Stock Items
-Car is all black outside, no stripes
-Interior is black
-Car has all interior upgrade packages & add-ons.
-Car has GT Appearance Package (Hood-Scoop, etc.)
Custom Items (For Sure):
-17" StockGT Wheels powder coated ALL black, even rim.
- Mustang Spinnder Caps plainted black to match wheels (except mustang logo)
- Cervinis 05-07 Window Scoops
- Cervinis 05-07 C-Series Lower Side Scoops
The Problem: The aggressive front-end
I am in love with the Roush front bumper and chin spoiler. I am a bit concerned about the ground clearance. I figure I want the thing to look posessed by a demon but still retain the retro-mustang look. Hence the shelby-style scoops and no other real-hard mods. Therefore the second option is to go with the stock-bumper and add the painted Roush chin spoiler. Please note that I want to use a finish that matches the car. Not a textured black one or otherwise. This is my issue.
Also, if ANYONE has ANY pics of the 2nd option (preferably black) I'd be happy. The one's on the net havebright colors/spoilers and mostly show the textured chin spoiler.
I'll answer any questions and thanks for the input!

As another option thats cheaper I went with the GT500 lip. It's black plastic that doesn't need to be painted. This car is mainly my daily driver so scraping stuff doesn't bother me. fireguy has the Roush front end on his black mustang.

The Shelby front fascia is damn near perfect for this car, IMO. I am going back and forth in my mind between getting that fascia (big $$), getting it painted, color matched, and installed (bigger $$ and big PITA), or just giving up my convertible and trading it in on the hardtop '07 black Shelby sitting down on the lot.
