Default Trouble code help

so today while driving home the engine went to safe mode and i popped a code P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input.

Does anyone know why i would get this?

i'd check the cai fittings to make sure there
is no air leak.....


Causes
A code P0102 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
[ul][*]The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad[*]The MAF may be dirty or otherwise contaminated (Note: if you use a[*]reusable oiled air filter, be careful not to apply too much oil or that can contaminate the MAF).[*]The MAF sensor may be faulty[*]The vehicle computer may be faulty (very rare) [/ul]

I will try and clean the MAF since the oil from the filter wouldnt reach it since ive got the procharger on. also i will check the wiring also could it be a faulty mafia unit ive had it on for some time now

The MAFia that i had is bad i removed it from the car and the problem is gone. the item was only 2-3 months old anyone get a bad one?
