I've got the Lower Control Arms (LCA's) pictured in the upper left corner, made and sold by Evolution Performance

I also have a BMR Upper Control Arm

Forultimate handing and to eliminatewheel hop gowith a Watts links suspension.

Saleen makes the best (expensive)but there is alsoFays2 (medium price rage), and lakwood (the lowest price).

Is it an easy install? Do you need a lift or can it be done with basic tools?

Basic tools and a really strong right arm. You have to torque the bolts down to 130 ft. lbs.

^^^ yeah, I got talked into the upper ca...the whole "while you're at it" and "you're only solving half (two-thirds if you want to get technical lol) of the problem with lowers only...oh well...yeah the lowers are the easy part, it's the upper that's a b*tch...most important is to use all the supplied lube to avoid bushing noise, and follow torque specs...you must do your final torquing at ride height or you'll introduce a preload on the bushings, so you'll need a drive-up lift or ramps (no jacks)...but anyway definitely a good investment...

I have found what I think is the answer to the s197 wheel hop problems for us guys that want a good handling car for the street and are not going to race. They are J&M products LCA's, UCA & panard bar. They have a patent pending on this design that incorporates an inner Poly Ball molded onto the bolt sleeve surrounded by soft socket outer caps. This design limits the motion of the rear axle forward and back (eliminating wheell hop) but retains the soft outer cups to allow the body to roll and NOT put high loads on the bars. To control roll install higher rate sway bars. All the other mfgs are selling the urethane rigid bushed LCA's (high priced) which only work well if you go in straight lines. Body roll with these urethane bushed bars transmits very high loads to the bars and the mounting flanges on the body to the point of bar and flange failure. So if you have these bars you probably should not take turns too hard.
Has anyone out there had experience with the J&M pieces???
