Or...your ride will be excessively bouncy w/ the stiffer, lower springs and the stock shocks. Do it all the right way, at the same time....

You do not NEED the adjustable panhard rod, though if your rear end moves to much to one side( to the left), you are going to need to center it again. I installed the Roush kit, and the axle is still plenty centered enough. TacoBill's "How To" for installing springs is a great reference, as is the Ford manual (your parts guy might give you the pages you need).

I guess you mention you want it lower than an 1", so if thats the case, you are going to need the adj. panhard rod, and adj camber bolts to keep things in spec. 1" kits pretty much leave everything close to stock spec.

pardon my ignorance, but wtf is a panhard rod? this is my first rwd/domestic car, so it's all new to me

i found a BMR kit here: http://www.lmperformance.com/7786/73.html
but it doesn't say how much it lowers. it also doesn't include shocks/struts

You use it to center your alxe side to side. When you lower the car thw rear end is going to push to one side. This fix it.

One other thing to consider is you will have to spring for another custom alignment if you do the struts at a different time. Iused the stocked struts when I lowered my car because nobody made them when I purchased my car in 05. I can tell you without a doubt that the ride got worse and worse. The car also will handle a lot better with a set of D-specs.

O he will most certainly NEED that considering he plans to go with the Sportline Springs. The adj. panhard is a must have item. I used the Pro Kit and my rear end shifted almost 1 Full Inch to the left so it was a MUST HAVE Item.

You should be able to get it all here. I would call and ask for a package deal. Also make sure you get the panhard bar with Poly bushing if it is a daily/occasional driver. Rod Ends transfer way to much noise.

Try also www.stangsuspension.com. If you're interested, you can also get the Saleen Suspension kit for less than $700 from www.UndergroungMustang.com. You may or may not need the adj panhard rod with that kit.
