I'm 6'4 and really have no compliants withmy fit in the S197 - new edge and SN95, forget it, they are very uncomfortable.
That pad is intruinging though, I might look in to that.

I think it's interesting how many people have the seat all the way back on these. I guess I just prefer to sit a little closer for a better clutch/shifter feel. I'm around 5'10" with a 31" waist, so I'm not a big guy. But I have the seat far enough up so that if I'm seated upright (I don't recline very much in the 'Stang) and I extend my left arm outward, my wrist rests perfectly on the top of the steering wheel.
The only thing about the seating position that gets me is that I always seem to have the keyfob brushing across my knee. It just bugs me sometimes when I'm wearing shorts. I actually have the Mustang key and keyfob on it's own keyring now because when I had all of my keys on the same ring (which wasn't that many) they annoyed the hell outta me.

I'm 5'11"-6' or so 150lbs, so im a smaller guy but i do seem to be more comfortable about 1/2-3/4 seat back with it vertically up a little, my knees hit the bottom of the steering wheel every so often but i just move the seat back a notch and i'm all set, but my dad is a big guy, 6'2 about and he's alot bigger than me lol not sure on weight or waist size but he's always all the way back and all the way down

My seat is positioned just like yours, all the way down and all the way to the back. Unfortunately I got the same problem with me left knee(the car is automatic). Even having my seat that way it still hits the door and after a while of highway driving gets really annoying... I thought I was the only one with that problem lol
