I thought that mag was now called 5.0 + 4.6 magazine lol...
...it's probably the mach one that's got em screwed up...before that all 4.6 GTs were sohc and all cobras were dohc (I think)...the mach one is the only sold-axle with the twin cam right?

Ok well heres a gotcha question then since every one says the 4.6L is a SHOC then why does the motor have two cam shafts wouldnt that still make it a DOHC and the 5.4L be a QOHC? Or is it just looked at as a SHOC based on the heads?

i think dohc= one for the exhaust valves and one for the intake valves, as opposed to our sohc setup, where one takes care of both intake and exhaust for each side

feng houzi you are correct, although it's worth mentioning that there are some sohc 16 valve 4 bangers out there (talk about a busy camshaft, eh? lol)...
mightymouse, for ohc engines the single or dual refers to "per head"...

and thats what my first thought was to. but it could be a little tough for some on comming from a car with say a 4 banger to grasp right away.
