Do you already have a customer tune or is it the tune that came with the JLT.
And why do you want to change it?

Yeah, I have a 93perf tune. I want to lower it to 750rpm. It's to high @ about 900 right now.

I don't think you can change the parameters once you get a custome tune, without getting a retune. I might be wrong but I'm going to check.

When I load my B a m a tune it asks if I want to modify parameters.
Press Select.
I can then scroll thru everything it allows me to change.
With the Automatic trans I can change Neutral Idle & Drive Idle.
Should be able to, but please let a Manual/GT/Brenspeed person confirm this.

It depends if the tuner put that option in for you to change that parameter, on mine per B-ama C-hips Douggave mea lot of control over/and parameters, rev limiter, speed limiter, spark adavance, fans, fuel (I canand have leaned (minus)and riched (add)per my InnovateWB gauge but only adjust this parameterif you have a wideband gauge and know what you are doing!) etc.

Since you have a stick I would also check your where your rev limiter is set (in drive not talking about the rev limiter for neutral)) and make sure it is where you would want it example 6500 - 6700rpm this is important imo I have heard of some tunes being sent out with no rev limiter set. Tuners can send out tunes and decide what parameters to let you adjust some have move some have less parameters for you to be ablechange.

My idle is set at around 850- 900 I have a manual 5spd.

To modify parameters:

On my SCT when I press yes to load tune an option comes up (modify parameters ?) that is where you can make changes.I choose select (modify parameters) on the SCT and all my parameters settings are there to scroll through and change. If I choose cancel when modify parameters comes up it will just load the tune without any changes toany of theparameters.

The Mustang stock tachs are not the most accurate and can be off 100-200rpms.

Confirmed. JLTII SCT2 from Brenspeed, manual GT. Idle RPM's adjustable.
Not recommended to drop it if running UDP, imo.

Reload your custom tune and when it asks if you want to customize parameters push yes. Scroll down until you see the idle parameters. Mine had idle speed drive and idle speed nuetral, i changed both to 750, they were set at 850 as i'm sure yours are as well.

When I first got my bren xcal 93 tune the car idled at about 900 rpm...back then all I had was flo's and a k&n drop (so in reality I had nothing lol)...since then I've added the balance of what's in my sig...I don't know if it was the retune for the CAI or just the tune "settling in" (although it's been reloaded twice, once for revs per mile and once for gear ratio) but now I'm down to 750 at normal op temp...so maybe it's only a matter of time before it comes back down on its own? Might be way off on this one, but...
