I was a jerk in my original response. I like that people do their own thing. I guess what I was saying is most people who "tribute" are actually trying to fool people, and using the word "tribute" to get acceptance from the people they can't fool.... I worded it harshly.

If I were you Id keep it because its what you want and thats what counts. Its just the whole "tribute" thing sometimes makes me.... suspicious.

It looks great and its not a "poser" or tribute because you put your only little twist with the 245 on it. Looks awesome now just wash her up lol. But it does look great

I personally don't get it. What does the 245 signify?
I expected to see a stripe and I will say that 90% of the people out here expected to see the same. That's no stripe, but what most of us consider a decal.
What does that have to do with Saleen?

I think you should lose it and put on racing stripes. Is that what you meant by superstripes? Again, I've never seen "superstripes" either...

I would think 245 means cubic inches, like saleen's 281 (and the GT's 281)

first off -245 is the displacement of the v6. hence the 245
Second-saleen TRIBUTE stripes is just what they are called. i am in NO way trying to build a saleen lookin sixer. honestly im not crazy about the new saleens at all. i cant stand it when people give everyone this poser bull**** if they are trying to "tribute a car", but guesswhatim not. i build my car to what i want it to look like. no mach, or boss theme going.
Third- i do have a matte black superstripe but it just isnt on yet
