Question about the fuel level indicator. (The reminder that pops up when you get 50 miles from empty.) When mine goes off it beeps and pops the message up, I hit reset to clear it and 4 miles later it beeps and pops up again. I dont seem to remember it doing this before. Does everyone elses do it? And if so, does anyone know a way to diable it or set it so that it only pops up once? It gets annoying reseting it, only to have it pop up again a few minutes later. Thanks.

 

I'm pretty sure mine pops up in 5 mile increments from 50 down.

 

Mine does it too every 10 miles or so below 50 miles until empty. I usually just fill up before it gets to that point now because its reallyannoying. I don't think you can disable it.

Sometimes it doesn't keep doing it, but i don't know if that's after I turn the engine off...and restart

when mine goes off I just don't hit the reset button cuz it will keep going off every 10 miles. just leave it until you fill her up

 

In the owners manual it states that the light and indicator will pop up once every ten minutes until empty. There is a way to turn this off, see your manual for instructions.

I read somewhere that the guage also turns red. Is this true?
