Default Shaker sound system

Hey everyone with the shaker 500/1000, i unfortunately do not have a shaker because i am a poor college boy with a HOT car =]. anyways what do you guys think about it. Im gona be putting a sound system in mines in the near future and just wanted to get ur guys input on how well the shaker sound system matches up to some of the other sound systems out there. (ps: i have very little knowledge about the shaker sound system)

its not worth it at all....you dont have the subs so this would be pointless....just get a good aftermarket cd player and change the speakers.

Have you taken English Composition class yet at your college?

Anyway, the Shaker system is prone to trouble -- particularly the CD mechanism. As Howarmat points out, there are much better aftermarket systems available.

I've never had any problems with my Shaker500. I'm no audiophile but even I can tell that the Shaker is not the greatest head unit in the world. I don't really care about car audio so the Shaker and 500Watts is more than enough for me.

DO NOT get the SH!TTER 5000. You will be extremely disappointed and will soon realize that your money could have been better spent on any other aftermarket audio system. While it is better than a lot of other factory sound systems it will not give you the sound that you're looking for and the HU is pathetic.
