ohsixgt is correct on all the items that should really be used for the safest operation. I on the other hand only have the pressure gauge at the moment so I know if it is within acceptable pressures and for consistancy but will be adding the other items he speaks of as well. difference on mine is that if I melt a piston that gives me the excuse to pull the engine and stroke it out with forged internals. I have about 7,000 miles on my car and I dont think a dealer would touch it for warranty work so I have to keep it in mind if I play I may have to pay, but thats racing.

Lol exactly. I highly reccomend a wideband gauge. It will keep your motor, lol even know you want a new one.

Yeah I guess that makes more sense to me now I thought all those things were just goodies. They are but if you think about it they keep you and your car in check while using it. So I guess I can buy Basic kit, and some neccesities then go from there because I don't really want to spend it all in one shot. Plus I can insall myself.
I would probably need a tune for a 125 shot, right?

Def. need a tune for a 125 shot. A dyno tune would be best because they can make sure you are not running too lean with the spray. I would save untill you can do everything you want to do, no need to rush anything.

Yeah I guess I can just buy one thing at a time until I have it all, but not install it. I have a problem with buying expensive things, I like to buy bits and peices. I dont think I would ever have the ***** the buy a supercarger. I like to have a few grand in the bank for back-up.
If I asked Brenspeed for a tune you think they would have a good enough one to hold me over till I get a dyno? What do you think the HP and safety difference would be?

Your first problem right there is you got screwed. $200 for a purge?

I don't understand where this extra money goes to? What else do you need after you buy the kit?
Heater ( a must if you plan on spraying at night, or twice in one hour) $200 (uninstalled)

Purge ( not "neccisary", but it sucks without, too much lag) $200 (uninstalled)

Nitrous pressure gauge ( the in car kind, not bottle kind)$80? (uninstalled) $200 + for electric

Extra switches and wires (for heater and purge) $20 (uninstalled) wiring these suck too

Gauge pod$80 "ish"

Those are the neccissities if you plan on running it properly, and safe.

Also: (Nice things to have, but not neccissarily "needed"

Wideband gauge (VERY nice to have, probably the best thing i have in my system, keeps you from blowing **** up) $300 (uninstalled)

Electric bottle opener ( I LOVE this thing, more of a novelty though) $200 (uninstalled)

All of the extra wiring really adds up. All of the extra installation REALLY adds up. Just that top you are looking about $500 in parts. plus the $600 kit. Thats $1100 about, with roughly $700-$800 in just installation with all of that other stuff. (the wiring and gauges really take a lot)

Up to about $1,900 for neccessities. The tune, a very important part, $500 or so on a dyno. $2,400.

Then add your extra goodies that are nice to have and you really broke the bank.

FYI, this is my view, and what ive seen. im sure the prices are not to the "T", but roughtly, this is what else is needed.

Ok $120 for a purge. Again, in the last part of my post i said these are just estimates. They were numbers off the top of my head.
