Yup I found out today, that 90 percent chance that its Totaled. Man i didnt appreciate the stang as much as i do now, when its gone all i can remember is the good times i had with it. 3 months, 3k miles gone in 3 sec. I got college for 4-5 more months. Once im done maybe another stang on its way! Long Live The Stang

 

WOW that is terrible. Did you get in the accident? If you totaled the car and walked away unharmed that is much more important than the car.

Probably because the airbag deployed.

 

That's pretty amazing if they total it .... I had $11,000 in damage and insurance company said I needed $14,500 for it to be totaled ... I would think on your GT you would need about $18,000 in damage for it to be totaled ... that's 75% of value rule most insurance companies use ... I tried everything to get my car totaled but couldn't make it happen.

 

If the air bags deploy dont they cost like a few grand a peice to replace? Also he probably screwed up his rear end and then some mean body damage.... I could see the frame being bent as well.

 

If frame is bent, it's normally totaled.
