don't listen to the pansies, get 4.10's[8D]

welcome to the V8 club!

edit: didn't see it was an automatic. get the 3.73's
Yeah, I know, I know... it is a measly AT, but my commute to work is full of stop and go's, sticks were driving me nuts - and I can't afford 2 cars. I'm not going to be doing a lot of track racing so I figure this should suit me fine. It is still a blast!

measly AT? Hell, the one time I DO wish I had an auto IS at the track, when I'm trying to figure out a good launch, proper shift rpm, and how to shift this thing as quickly as possible. I'd rather just have a good stall, some mickeys, control arms and a b*a*m*a* slushbox tune and be consistent, not spin the tires this run, hit the rev limiter that run, miss a shift the next run...[:@]...when I'm watching other cars race while waiting for my class to load up, I get all bitter when a slushbox car breaks off a perfect run...stick is really fun on the street screwing around, at the track it's just stressful lol...

I have had my car a week - and I am already starting my mod list. Now I just need the cash and I'm good to go.

That is good to hear. So many posts around here seem to be negative when it comes to AT. I love it personally. In AZ there are a few different tracks with some different options. Once I get more comfortable with the car and its power (and maybe a mod or two) I'll be heading there to try my luck.

Well, that depends on when I have the money for it.. From what I have been reading, if I go with Roush they will pick up the remainder of my warranty, which is important to me since I know next to nothing about the workings of a car. So if I win the lotto tonight, I'm going with that (well, if I win the lotto I'll probably just buy the coolest mustang I can find lol) However, if I get something when the warranty is close to expiring, then I'll probably read more about all the options out there and decide then - there seem to be so many, I hear Saleen, Whipple, Vortech and others thrown around a lot
