Why? You've got an all aluminum 281 cubic inch fuel injected SOHC motor that develops 300 BHP at the crank. Back in the day, when I had a 351C in my '69 Mach, such an enginewas a motor to kill for.

Yeah isn't our 4.6 3valve one of the best Ford Engines? I mean this thing produces more horsepower than cubic inches of engine.

I seem to remember hearing about some regulation passed along time ago that prevents anybody from putting a non computer controlled engine into a modern street legal car. Has to do with emisions I think. You might want to check local laws before you try it. Unless you're only planning on using the car for racing then you'll probably be ok. The Cleveland is a boat anchor of an engine, extremely heavy cast iron. Pound for pound though the 4.6 has more power and way lighter. Just depends on what you wanna do.

A buddy of mine has a 351 in his early ninties convertable fox body. N/A, it lays down 380 hp and 425ft pds on the dyno. Not sure if his is a C or W though.

it sounds like a cool project no doubt, but
the resale value of the car would probably
plummit to nearly zero

take care and thanks for serving

Have to not be a Windsor with those number. The C was a great engine back in the day, even with the head problems, but is pretty much obsolete now days. Now if he was going to build a strip car, the perameters may be weakend a bit. Motor mounts, fuel delivery system and drive line to say the least would need changed out.

Erm our motor is rather lame, so weak and brittle. Hard to get over 400 N/A and you can't go over 450 F/I w/o getting internals wtf is that!

You are nearly doubling its stock power you cant expect it to stand up to something it was never designed to do. 400 N/A is acheivable as we have seen numerous videos over the last few days and that didnt include heads or stroking the block and other bits and pieces weren't added. But 400hp is like the equivalanet of 260BHP over stock thats a fair bit of power when you think about it. Im sure loads of people seem to think these cars make 300RWHP from factory without realise thats BHP there quoting.
