Default Paint on the brain.

Ok, I just recently discovered this fantastic color called "Mystichrome". I've only seen it on the 99-04 Cobras but I'm wondering if you guys think it would good on an S197 or not.

If so, can I even get this color from Ford any more? If this was done, the whole body would be done, no "just the hood/bumper/wing/whatever", the whole body. I'm in a coupe, btw.

Here's the color if you haven't seen it. http://www.mystichrome.com/photos/images/page1_15.jpg

Thanks for any input.

Ive heard you will pay up around $2,000 a pint.

That and if you are willing to pay that much, good luck finding it, it is not made anymore.

too much, and you can find other very similar chameleon paints a bit cheaper, lol. besides, the mystic chrome turns purple at some angles (gross).

I saw a Mystichrome Cobra at Best Buy a little while ago...looked amazing.

Just thought I'd share...

No doubt they look sweet as hell, but as another poster said, you can get a regular chameleon paint job for quite a bit cheaper.

Any automotive paint supply store ,can custom make any hue of chameleon paint you want. They can use dupont, alsa corp, or any of the many other companys that produce it.

Contact HardcoreMustangs, they have two show cars painted with the type of paint you've mentioned.
