Default Supercharger or commuter car

I have about 5-6K to spend right now. Im trying to decide if I should go with a blower on my GT orpurchase a used car as a commuter. I just moved and now travel 26 miles to work each way. I had my car 1.4 years and have 11K miles currently.

Commuter car, I wish I could buy another car that got crazy good mileage. If I had the money, I'd buy a used VW TDI.

get the S/C and make sure its has a charge cooler!!!

BTW.... expect your MPG to drop.... some due to the S/C....more due to your foot!!

S/C, but you'll need closer to 7K. about 5800.00 if you install yourself.

This may be easy for me to say, being that I don't have $5-6K to spend right now, and therefore no temptation to use it on the Mustang, but I would say go for the commuter car. My 'Stang is a DD, and I don't know how many times I wish that I had another car to drive back and forth to work, etc., so that I can save the car for more special, fun outings (when I really feel like driving a stick!).

I would LOVE to get a beater car and keep my stang as a hobby car...... Then it will last for a very long time, just for fun driving.

But, how much more fun would you get with a s/c? Youre in a decision I would not want to have to make...
