Just a reminder on this tint scratch issue. If the dealer did the tinting and it scratches, the dealer will handle it as a warranty item; replacing the tint and the window molding. Ford is aware of this problem and will make it right. You may have to be firm with certain dealers. My dealer handled the whole thing and gave me a loaner car for the two days it took.

not necessarily, the mustang has a defective window moulding that will scratch the tint; mostly in line with the door handles on each side. Ford dealers are aware of the problem and owners who want tint on the front windows need to hold Ford's feet to the fire on the issue. (See extensive thread on this issue on the forum).

Looks great. Mine actually came with the tinting. I'm not sure if I
have moleskin or not. I can see some type of soft material and I
know it's not rubber, that's for sure. But I have not had a single
scratch. The windshield is also tinted, lighter than the windows though.
Tinting would've been my first mod, to me...it's a must.

I second about going to Ford. I got mine done at a place that was highly recommended. I'm a little pissed that they never told me about the scratching problem (this is the first car I've ever tinted). When I went to Ford to get a few things done the lady had to tell me about it and said IF Ford had installed it they would have switched it out. So now I have to go decide to go to Ford or go to the other place and have them fix it. Can someone explain a little more about the moleskin? Where would I get it? How much etc? thanks for the help. on my car? 5%
are you sure you got 5% on the front?? they look really light.....the back looks like 5% though
I was gonna say the same thing... 5% is ALOT darker than that. You can actually see the lines in the wall in the background through both windows on his car.

I was also thinking it looked light. It actually looks like 20%
