You'll find that there are rules and regs for positioning of lights. Fogs have to be a State dependent maximum of x" from the ground.
These lights ARE referred to as fogs but being that they are waaaaay too high (for most States), in the eyes of the law they are driving lights.

+3.....................The cop doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground. He thinks just because of diameter they are driving lights. They point down cop.

The fogs on my Jeep Liberty are higher than these.
