is too much oil bad for your car b/c the shop put in 7qts in my gt and i drove it and it feels like the brakes are burning.. so i brought it back adn he took some out but it feels the same as it did...is my engine messed up?

i got pulled over last night b/c the cop said that i was racing b/c the smoke from the brakes he said... so i dont know if that could be from the oil...it all happened when i picked it up from an oil change

 

maybe when they filled it up some of the oil got on your front brakes but if its coming from the back to then i dunno

 

Maybe he overfilled your brake pads... ???? What am I missing here?

Just curious.. what makes you link overfilling engine oil to smoking breaks?

Also.. does it feel like the brakes are rubbing? Can you put it in neutral and roll from a stop on a small hill?
Is there a lot of brake dust on your wheels?

 

E-brake could be sticking....Do what MrSandman suggested...
