At least not all the time - rarely ever on the first try. I have to hit the trunk button on the remote fob like 3 times before it opens. It's not the remote - It will click and sound like it wants to release, but does not come up enough to actually get unlatched. Also, in the last few days, when it opens, it makes a different click noise after it releases...

Anyone else have this problem?

 

Maybe the rubber trunk casket is melting to the trunk lid??

 

Yea, in the Hot weather mine makes the slurping noise as it pulls away from the Hot rubber seal. Could be that ?

 

I bet thats it.
