Stock mirrors are perfect size for me. I like mirrors that I can actually see when backing to avoid objects and other cars. I have had a vehicle with small mirrors in the past and they were a pain when backing.

Yeah I dont have a problem with the mirrors... they give me plenty of vision of whats beside me. Plus I think they fit the look of the car (with the painted mirror caps)
When I drive my dads little benz it drives me nuts because the mirrors are so smallI can't see anything!

The mirrors aren't too bad, but I would love to have seen some bullet style mirrorsinstead, and if anybody ever manufactures them I will definitely get a pair.

Bullit mirrors are nice looking but the stock due provide a nice field of vision compared to other rides I've had. Painting them is planned for the winter though.

To tell you the truth, i've seen painted mirrors and didn't like them as much as the Midwest Auto Gear mirror covers. I like the way the Midwest covers leave half of the mirror with the stock black color, it ties the mirrors in better with the surrounding black trim pieces IMO.

I feel the opposite about the Midwest covers, I think the make the mirrors look larger and stand out more. But that's just my opinion. Painting them makes them look like they belong and not like an afterthought.

My next project is painting the trim around the door body color also.

Absolutely love the mirrors, they have good vision and I would not compromise safety for fashion.
