Autos can drop it in forth at the press of a button. These cars have a 5 speed auto with an OD button.

Why is it anytime someone has an issue above 75mph some people feel the need to jump on the save the world bandwagon? Post count? It's not like it's going to do any good.
Back to this thread, to the original poster, not much to add due to the auto, but this is one of the reasons I went with a manual. I like to be in control of the RPMs and power. I can romp along at 120mph, drop it into 4th and get a great kick to the pants. Shift up to 5th and see 150+ in no time.

Didn't read ALL the posts...I think I read that you have an autotrans...Mine manual pulls pretty hard to 130 or so in 4th...5th is really just an overdrive gear. Change the shift pointsof your autotranswith a tuner, that should do it...
