Default Tuner Help

I have the xcal2 tuner and I put it on 93 octane tune. When I gun the gas its ruff when the gears change. It throws me back in the seat. I have an automatic. Is it suppose to do this?

sounds like the shift firmness, which you may
be able to fine tune to your liking....

talk to your tuner....if you dont have a tuner one can be appointed to you.....seriously just get a bama or brenspeed tune and try it...they can then adjust it to fit what you think it should shift like.....most people want a harder shift and to be throwm back in their seat though

Absolutely. Fun huh!

Wait until you really get on it. Oh, it might be best to lay your head against the head rest when you do.[sm=yikesomg.gif]

Thats the shift pressure. It can be adjusted for each gear using the SCT xcal2.

The firmness of the shifting is one of the top 3 reasons I got a tune. The modified shift points and shift pressures do throw you back in the seat when you get on the gas--that's the car taking off like a raped ape and it's a complete rush.
