I have an 06 gt, what is the absolute simplist, most straight forward and professional way to connect my ipod to my system. I'm looking to stay away from the fm transmitter due to the horrible quality, any ideas?

The way you will be most satisfied with is an after market HU with iPod control capability.

 

in the box between the driver and passenger seat is an input jack for an ipod....maybe i missed something in reading the question?

I believe that the '06 has an aux jack behind theradio, it that correct? Perhaps the simplest way to connect would be to pull the radio and wire it from there to the glove box? I don't know but its a thought.

 

No, can't do that.. You have to buy an adapter like the AUX-FOR4 (i think thats right). Then you can plug it to that. I did that but I also got the H&K setup so I could put the Ipod away and control it on the dash. Look at my link below to see it on page 3
