TC on wet roads is a MUST!!!
I sh*t myself a little bit today. It had just rained and the roads were still nice and wet. I had my TC off (It's just a habit, after I turn the ignition my finger goes right to the TC button). Anyway, I turned onto this road and got on it a little bit from 2nd. As I shifted into 3rd (on a slightcurve), my ***-end kicked out about 3 feet . After a couple subsequent fish-tails, I got her goin' straight again but for a second or two I was like [sm=yikesomg.gif]
Since I've had my Mustang, I really haven't hadtodrive it on wet roads. I was really shocked at how easily the tires broke free. It mustbe the composite of these tires, I'll definitely be more cautiouswhen it's wet out...

RE: TC on wet roads is a MUST!!!
Yeah im extra careful in any weather thats not Hot as hell and dry as sh*t. Hell i even hate it on dry days when i have to drive over a puddle of water. I have to admit though when it snowed last year and i was driving down a empty street no cars in sight since it was snowing pretty bad and this was a side street with no exits I turned tsc and wanted to see the difference. It was fun LOL.

I had similar experience Seniorsmith this morning as well - tires broke free a couple of times, and on I-94 (after the accident, around 10 Mile) found that there was enough water on the road to hydroplane with the Pirelli's - much more scary to me than the rear breaking free and letting my TCS try to get those under control! Maybe it's time to get some new tires (although the Pirelli's have a lot of tread on them).
