How weird, i've been thinking about doing this for my car. Black leather with some silver stitching!! I'm thinking about just taking my car to a local shop and have them do it. I wonder how much it'll cost [&:]

The stitched dash is part of the "Premier Trim Package" which is a $349 option ($344 invoice)and is not the same thing as the Interior Upgrade Package (IUP).
68B Premier Trim Package w/Color Accent
Includes wrapped and stitched instrument panel brow and center console lid, bright shift ****, upgraded door armrests with stitching and aluminum pedal covers. Available in 5 interior colors. REQUIRES Dark Charcoal or Black w/Parchment Accent or Black w/Red Accent or Black w/Dove Accent or Black w/Chamois Accent.
I have this in my 07 and think it's well worth the extra price. Onlycomplaint is the shift **** gets hot when the car is parked outside in hotweather. Here's a picture:

Quick question -- is the dash wrapped in leather (or fake leather-like fabric), or is it still just plastic that's now molded/shapped like it's a stitched leather dash? The picture makes it look like the former, but knowing how cheap Ford can be (and seeing how cheap the option is), I would guess it is the latter.

Yeah, I have this option on my 07 as well. It appears to be real leather and I treat it with the same conditioner I use on my seats. I love the look of the shifter but like someone else said, it does get hot....
