Well my parents bought me a new fully loaded 2007 mustang, vista blue. Well any way I saw a 2006 mustang at a dealership with a leather wrapped dash with exposed stitching. FYI when I say dash I mean the plastic top part that meets up against the windshield. Since then I haven't be able to find that part, not on fords website or on parts websites, does anyone know where I can get that?

 

The GT500 has a leather dash I believe.

 

i believe its part of a factory package..call your dealer and see if you can order it through them

 

Maybe that's something where you'd have to take the dash apart, take it into a leather place, and have them stitch leather onto it. It looks great (I've seen leather stitched dashes in a lot of high-end cars) but I bet it definitely costs a few bucks.

 

The part is part of the IUP package and costs $1000 plus instalation. You need to install the doors and center console from the package or the whole setup will look weird (total $3000).

 

Are you sure it was leather? I've seen later mustangs than my 06 with soft touch plastic with stitch effect on the edges..... My old girl has the fabulously exotic hard plastic dash

 

It's called the Premier Trim package ... was first available in 2007 .... includes wrapped and stitched instrument panel, console lid, door arm rests. Also includes the aluminum pedal covers and shifter trim.

 

i found this picture of a GT500 with it, does that mean the dealership I was at took a dash from the GT500 and installed it in a V6?
