Anyone else had problems with this. I just cant get rid of the rust. Park it and come out in the morning and the rotors are covered with rust. Any solutions?

If your seeing what I think your seeing then here's what I do
a little hard braking get it up to at lest 60 and the floot the brake pedal
do that a few times and your roters should be clean

Yeah the stock rotors rust in about 2 hours here in florida. But driving gets rid of it, well for 2 hours anyways... lol

its exposed metal, what to you expect to happen?

go buy some aftermarket rotors, guess what will happen if there is moisture in the air and you car is sitting still overnight?

RUST.

unless you buy a rotor that is made out of a metal that will never rust, this will always happen. all the aftermarket rotors that you can buy that are coated to prevent rust etc, guess what happens to the coating the first time you apply your brakes? yep, gone, bare metal again. as long as the rust is only showing up on the contact area of the rotor you're fine. the coatings on rotors prevent the rust from spreading to the hub and other non-contact areas of the rotor metal.

That is all I'd ever worry about is the non-contact area's, I have yet to see rust on the contact area's of my rotors and I live in a wet climate, and even if I did I wouldnt worry about it since all you would have to do is drive the car.
