Evolution Tune HELP!!!
WARNING: Have you ever heard, "There's no such thing as a dumb question." I'm about to prove whoever made that statement wrong...
[ul][*]Are my tunes from Evolution already on the SCT hand held programmer???[sm=nerd.gif][/ul]
I ask this because, there was no USB cable included to hook up to my PC AND the instructions start off with, "Plug the OBD-II connector into the port under the dash...." There's no mention of downloading ANYTHING...
Suplimental Dumb Question:
To change from one to to another (say from 87 to 91 octane) what would be the best proceedure. Should I run a tank or two of 91 octane through before I install the new tune???

RE: Evolution Tune HELP!!!
Yes, your tunes are already on there. Just plugin to the OBD2 port, and select the tune you want. It'll download your stock configuration into the tuner, then upload the tune you specified.
As for the gas, you shouldn't have to go through a couple tanks. Just fill up then upload the new tune before starting up the engine.

Just to be safe, if I was going to 91 octane with some 89 or 87 still in the tank, I'd run the tank down thenfill up with 93. Maybe it's me but I'd want my tank to match my tune at a minimum.
