Not really. The Camaro and the Firebird were GM's Mustang.

I have a 93, 40th Anniversary C4, (garage queen, less than 5k mi) and took it out last weekend for the first time in conjunction with my 07 GT(daily driver), I drove the Vette and my 19 year old son drove the Mustang, side by side the Stang is 2 inches wider and 20 inches longer than the Vette, until last weekend I had the conception that the Mustang was wider but the Vette was longer. I was very surprised onhow much longer the Mustang was and would explain why theStang is over 600pounds heavier. Both are fine cars,Vette is pure sports car, Stangwithout a doubt is the best bang for the buck.
