Congrats (jk) it happened to me about 6 months ago. I also lived in apartments and parked about 30 yards from everyone else. I need to have my hood repainted, luckly thats all they got.

That stuff sounds like a winner, must get some for myself! One question Sandman, how long will a bottle last(how many application can I expect you reckon?).
Oh, on the topic, as everyone else has said, be glad it was just an egg and you caught it early in the morning. Yeah, you gotta keep you ride fully waxed, makes taking dirt, grime, bird $hit and the occasional egg[8D]off much easier. I parked my car at a relative's house and didn't know the neighbors had hidden sprinklers, hard water stains[:@]all along the passenger side(below the door handles) and since my car is light in color, I didn't readily notice the spots for a couple of days. If it weren't for the factI have a coat of prep wax, two coats of polish and two coats of top wax, I would have been in a bind. All the water stains wiped right off with detailer's mist(in80+ degree weather).
Sorry to hear about getting egged, not meaning to sound cynical but, be prepared and expect the worst because we have cars that others envy....................

Parked way away from others at store and come out
to find Mrs. Mecedes pulling up next to mine kinda
close. Just walked up and watched her directly get
out of her car and swing the door all the way open.
Came within an inch of door dinging me and gives ME
a dirty look for staring at her. Phoooie on her.
She coulda left a space between her car and mine,
but NOOOOOOOOOO.[:@]
