Are the valves on our 05+ cars unusually loud. I was checking the air pressure in the right front tire and heard what sounded like a valve tap. Took it to the dealer....their explanition is "the valves tend to be loud on these cars. Anyone else notice this?

 

uh.................its probably the injectors you hear clicking. i would hope you wouldn't hear the actual valves, maybe the lifters or whatever. maybe with a pushrod car with solid lifters and a ginourmous cam.

 

So the injector clicking is normal...Guess I never really noticed how loud they were. Well...the car is running like a top. So I guess all is well.
