I'm currently making that decision right now. I have an 04 F-150 Scab that i may give my son in a few months.I really don't use it for hauling stuff in the bed, other than the usual Home Depot stuff. The only issue i may have is how it will be to sit so much lower on the road. I do like the fact that in a truck you have greater visibility.

i made the choice, sold my stang and have a lifted f150, never looked back. ive got a nice, all season driver that gets as many looks or more than a stang, sounds just as good if not better, more comfortable drive, everything is awesome. its much better, then when you have the funds/want get another mustang and keep the truck

The guy above was right, you need a confederate flag and a cowboy hat, no reason to go just halfway. Show me a sophisticated mature person in a giant lifted truck and I'll show you my ability to benchpress 200lbs.
Neither of those things are possible.
All this stereo typing and hostilities for trucks is a little ignorant and childish to say the least. Lifting atruck for looks is the same as lowering the Mustang for looks so pointless it is not. It also allows the clearance to run larger tires again for looks or for going offraod some do and some don't. I myself use to but not any more due to showing the truck. Some of us like trucks loweredand some like lifted ones. Not sure why you all consider people that drive trucks hillbillies that is pretty ignorant on your part.
By the way here is the truck I own and drive and show.

+1 on your old F-150, that thing was badass.
I struggled with the same thing between an F-150, needed a truck for work, liked the F-150, etc. I went with the stang, and am glad I did. I Also quit my job...but thats another story.
Keep in mind most trucks will never move like your stang will, and thats what I love about the car.
