Install CAI first or axel-backs first?
I am planning on installing an AEM Brute Force CAI with Brenspeed tune and MAC axel-backs on my 07 GT. My question is, what order makes the most sense? I've read different posts advising to do one mod at a time in case problems arise as it makes it easier to troubleshoot. So should I stick the MAC's on first, and then assuming no problems procede to the Brute Force, or vice versa? Your response along with the reasoning as to why would be greatly appreciated.
do both at the same time if $$$ not an issue......
Axel-backs dont effect performance....just sound the CAI and tune will make the car wake up......my .02

I would go with the Axle back first... that's what I did, and it was enough to make my car feel faster from all the noise it was making
and it sated my need for more mods for a few months...

I'd go all at the same time. The axel backs arent going to cause any problems or gains, but will make it sound mean. The CAI and tune will really wake up the car though.
It's not a money thing, I'm going to buy it all at the same time. I was only thinking in terms of troubleshooting - it seems logical to me to just add one, see if there are problems, and if not, procede to the second. I was just curious as to whether or notswitching factoryaxel-backs for MAC'sneeds to be factored into the tune, and if it does which should I put on first, the MAC's or the tune/CAI. Everything I have read says that the axel-backs are a sound mod only, no real performance gain, and therefore no real effect on the tune. But I wanted some other opinions.
they are 2 mods that dont have anything to do with each other....if you have a problem it will be easy to tell what is causing the problem. if money is not a problem then for about 1000-1100 you will have a great sounded car and it will also feel like a new car with tons more power.
