Default STRIPE INSTALLTION

i bought some 10 inch black vinyle stripe. is there any tips on how to put them on i no how. but are there any expert stripers here. will it look tacky with vinyl rather than painted. and when goin down a bumper should i roll it over the edge to give it a more clean cut look. any help would be nice. THANKS

I am not a fan of vinyl stripes. I'm particularly not sure how well they stay on, or if they have problems withgetting dust and other debris under the ridges. All I can say is take your time! I can't imagine those stripes coming off clean if you make a mistake. Best of luck.

I spent about 8 hours installing mine and they are damn near perfect. You have to take your time and don't rush it at all. Mine have been on for about4-5 months in the hot Florida sun and they are fine.

Vinyl stripes don't look tacky. If they're good enough for Shelbys they're good enough for you. [sm=goodidea.gif]

I once tried to do my own, by myself, and failed miserably. [:@] My advive, have a friend present so that one can hold out the stripes while the other uses the squeegee to flatten them out correctly.
