Default Bent Rear Axle...

So last Tuesday some jackass runs a red light and hit me. Now I have some minor damage to the body but the main thing seems to be that the rear axle is bent. Will the car drive the same if they fix or replace the axle... assuming nothing else is wrong?

If its just the axle, it can be repaired, make sure the differential housing did not get bent.
