So can you hear the pump run now that it's in the trunk? Might help if it dies again. I still wonder if this puts more strain on the pump seeing as how it's pushing all that coolant a lot futher.
that is why i mounted it in the tunk. most i/c pumps that come with a s/c kit are designed to push, not pull, so i mounted it in the trunk unde the tank so it is gravity fed. and let me tell you it pumps like a champ. ill show you at the meet next weekend, youll be suprised at how good it pumps and how cool it keeps everything. my pics are crap, but it looks really clean in person

Ok, I'm lost. What are the major benefits of this?

it helps keep the s/c cooler. but more cooler than you might think. also it makes it possible to put a lot of ice in the tank for track nights or street racing.when you s/c you get this tiny little reservoir, right next to or in front of the s/c in the engine bay. do you understand how hot it gets in their. your air will get cooler from the i/c but its still a small system, meaning it doesn't circulate very far. by moving it to the trunk i have made the system longer, and also keeping the coolant temp very low and by doing that keeping my iat temps very cool, and reducing the chance of detonation and a loss of timing, and thierfor not loosing much h.p due to temps and losss of timing
