I considered a used Mustang but after spending time on this forum and learning how thrashed some of these cars are I decided new was the best option. If you do go used find one that is unmolested and you'll have a better chance that it was not thrashed. I’m pretty happy with my 07 and the quality is the best in class.

remember the posi is not standard unless you get the 3.55 upgrade so i WOULD get the upgrade instead of buying a new axle assembly later

Just my two cents.I would never buy a a car in the last model year this early in the year.I would wait to see what changes that are beingmade to the 09.If you still like the 08 at that point grab one up.You will get a much better deal and still get the car you wanted.I think the changes in 09 are significant.Meaning your 1 year old 08 could look real dated in a hurry.

$1k of mods in my 07 got me ~50 rwhp all of which can be used with my future KB S/C
