Default Calling all TUNGSTON owners.....

Hey, I am the owner of a 06 Tungston GT.

I wanted to ask the rest of you if you have noticed any issues with your paint.
Its something you would notice in a softer light, especially at dawn or when the sun is about to set.

It looks patchy is spots, top of the front bumper, top of the rear bumper, maybe on the deck lid....almost looks light patches of black.

Basically its called mottling, when the bumper/primer is showing thru b/c theres not enough paint.

I have heard of some others complaining about this, and just wanted to see if anyone else notices this...

You have to have a bit of a trained eye and know what your looking for...

Just curious.

I don't have a trained eye, but my husband is a painter and he would have noticed it by now. So, no paint problems on my car, not like you described anyway.

The paint is fine, I think the pigment nature of the Tungsten hue gives awkward reflections in different lighting. Sorta has a dull murkiness to it when the day is overcast, then it's very brilliant on a sunny day and at night it's seems to not be as metallic looking as in daylight JMHO.
