Default Affording a supercharger...

Just curious, how were all you supercharged guys able to afford one? I work full time as an electrical engineer, so I'm making decent money to do this. Currently, I am paying bills on rent, plus I have about 6k left to pay on my car, which will be done in 2 years, and 6k left to pay off my college loans, which will be done in 1 year. I'm getting all that stuff done very aggressively. I still have money to spare but what's the quickest way to get the cashola for a supercharger?? I am dyin to get one!! I could easily save enough in a year to do it, but damn, why wait right?

+ 1 - anyone taking out a loan to mod the car doesn't have the financial situation to dictate the possible risk of what might happen from that decision. If you can't pay cash for something like that then you shouldn't even consider buying it.

Ugh, I guess that's true. It will be a nice gift for myself at the beginning of next summer. Maybe I will wait...

Pay-off your bills first. The supercharger is great but I highly recommend that you pay off your car and student loans and then work on the mods. I paid off my car first and then saved up for a year to buy the supercharger. After living through student loans, stupid credit card mistakes and etc. I am really not a big fan of financing things like mods. Save the credit for emergencies like home repairs, car repairs or other emergency situations that may come up.

I wont get to any of that till the car is paid for. because of bills and such.I will on the other hand get to do the small stuff like AB's UDP's and such. But my plan is to get the car paid off then pull the motor do a nice refresh add internals and then SC or TC it..
