05 v6 mods
Surveyor,
From what I understand, the SCT XCalibrator won't void the warranty (as long as it can't be traced to causing a part failure). Plus, it saves your stock settings so that you can reload them at a later time. Casper said more about it in this post: https://mustangforums.com/m_391960/tm.htm
I've heard that the Mustang has a fantastic exhaust and that a new one really doesn't do a lot except change the sound.

If you have a V6 like me there aren't any exhaust mods except just putting on a new muffler. I've heard the GT has some cat-back systems available through Bassani and Mac (I think they're available if not they will be soon) Roush has done some stuff with the GT as well so they might have one also
Got my module installed yesterday, and you can tell a difference. Not sure how much (I haven't dyno'd it) but I can tell a difference in driving it, and all I've done is the module and a K&N filter. And I'm also not sure what it has done to gas mileage yet since 1) I havn't gotten a chance to drive much since I put it in and 2)when I do drive I've been gettin on it so try out the boost. So initial results are there is a difference and it definatley seems to be worth the $34.95 total. Installation is easy took like 20-30 min If anyone wants to do this contact me and I'll give you a details to save you some time (like which wires are the right ones cause the dealer won't tell you for sure if they'll even help you, I had to do some research on it)
I know Ford has a kit for like $400 + install costs, and install will take several hours(atleast 3-4). I recommend asking some dealerships in your area (not just Ford) where they have custom work done. This is what I did and the guy did it all for $425. The guys I used was recommended by several dealerships here in town and had been doing it for like 10 years. He did an awesome job. be sure to ask if they put vinyl wet or dry. If they put it on wet you need to let it sit for a couple of days to get good and dry or you'll screw up your decal. Mine put it on dry and it came out good.
