dumb suspension question...
Ok...So I'm seeing posts about the Tokico D-Specs, and on recommendation from several people, am seriously considering pulling the trigger on these struts. However, I'm wondering if the struts are MacPherson struts, because I don't want to have to pull the springs off of the stock struts, put them onto the Tokicos, and then 2-3 months down the road have to pull the shocks back off and put a new set of springs on afterwards. MacPherson spring compressors are a pain to have to deal with, and when the shocks wear out is pretty much only when I want to have to deal with it.

+1. When I got the Tokico D-Specs, I lowered at the same time with the Eibach Spring Kit. Saves you some labor cost..

I've got spring compressors, impact wrench, etc...I spent a bunch of money on tools a while back when my dad and I started in on our Vette project car, and ran out of money (for a while, anyway) because we needed a tool to do the job better.
