Default dumb suspension question...

Ok...So I'm seeing posts about the Tokico D-Specs, and on recommendation from several people, am seriously considering pulling the trigger on these struts. However, I'm wondering if the struts are MacPherson struts, because I don't want to have to pull the springs off of the stock struts, put them onto the Tokicos, and then 2-3 months down the road have to pull the shocks back off and put a new set of springs on afterwards. MacPherson spring compressors are a pain to have to deal with, and when the shocks wear out is pretty much only when I want to have to deal with it.

So...I take it the struts are MacPherson struts? If so, it means another 2 mos before I can swing the struts & springs.

+1. When I got the Tokico D-Specs, I lowered at the same time with the Eibach Spring Kit. Saves you some labor cost..

Labor cost is still going to be the same, since I'm doing it myself... I've got spring compressors, impact wrench, etc...I spent a bunch of money on tools a while back when my dad and I started in on our Vette project car, and ran out of money (for a while, anyway) because we needed a tool to do the job better.
